VoltServer closed its Series A round of financing of $2M with participation from the Rhode Island Slater Center, Marker Hill Capital, Natural Resources Capital Management, Angel Street Capital and the Clean Energy Venture Group. This new round of funding will be used to scale up VoltServer’s proven technologies to provide robust power distribution products.
VoltServer has developed a digital power solution which enables Telecom Providers to remotely power remote equipment including cellular radios with absolute safety over existing twisted pair communications wiring. This eliminates the need for remote power infrastructure and remote battery backup. VoltServer technology can deliver eight times more power than existing Power over Ethernet solutions, and is NRTL Approved.
Future applications include Renewable Energy, Data Centers and Building Power.
